  • This is a restaurant that serves traditional German / Scandinavian food. Prices are ok, food and service are good. It’s a nice place to dine if you are an expat. The Wienerschnitzel, Spaetzli and Rotkohl are all authentic recipe other than the breading on the veal cutlet flakes off a bit from the meat. Very tasty. Update: Inside needs a face lift and whoever runs the place - having an windows AC unit produces the same amount of heat as cold air plus the heat from the mechanics. You want a swamp cooler - add ice which you have and AC. Staff was friendly and also look like they work well together.

  • The staff were very friendly. The food was very good with many different choices. We especially liked the pretzel and the sausages.

  • I love this place. The food was good, service was great. A little German pub with a decent menu. The ambience was great, the service was top notch. Ordering the Pretzel Appetizer is a must. It's been many years since I have had a authentic German Pretzel with mustard and Beer cheese. And their clam chowder rivals anything Seattle has to offer. We had the Schnitzel Sandwich and their Version of a Reuben. The schnitzel Sammy was huuuuge and delicious. The Reuben.....it was good but my only complaint was the amount of meat on it. It was Beef, top quality. But Reubens should be 60% meat and 40% sandwich. But it was delicious. Will be returning to try some new items.

  • The pretzel was awesome but the mustard it came with hit me hard in the nose with the horseradish. TEARS. If you're a wimp like me be warned. In the picture there's also a dill dressing I got for the pretzel because another review recommended it and it was bomb I want some right now to be honest. I got the shepherds pie and it was really nice but could've had more salt imo. Service was excellent, that waitress was working her butt off serving like 6 tables by herself and she didn't miss a thing.

  • A very UK-pub feeling spot, with some great pan-European foods, from German to Nordic to English, with hamburgers and such to round out the menu. I loved the welcoming feeling here. The food and beer was excellent!

  • Yummy food and huge serving. The pretzel is so yummy. Soft and warm. The size is bigger than my face. It also serve with dips and cheese, very nice indeed. Schnitzel is using pork cutlet. It is very good not dry. Sauce is really good. And also huge in size. Mixed sausage plate had 3 kinds of sausages. All of them are moist inside and very tasty. Plenty of tables indoor and balcony seating outdoor. The whole street are very unique and pretty. Street view on balcony is fantastic. Plenty of parking nearby. Card payment available.

  • Tizley’s Europub in Poulsbo is a fantastic spot with old-world charm right in the heart of "Little Norway." The creaky floors and doors give away its past as an old house, adding to the cozy, historic atmosphere. The second-story balcony offers a great view of downtown, perfect for people-watching with a cold drink in hand. The service was top-notch—our waitresses were sweet, friendly, and incredibly attentive. As for the food, the Pile Driver sandwich was a standout—a Reuben with a hand breaded pork schnitzel added that worked perfectly. The potato salad soup was unique and warm. We paired it all with a cold German-style beer and a refreshing blueberry cider, served in a generous mug and glass. If you’re in Poulsbo, this place is a must-visit. Great food, great drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere—can’t wait to go back!

  • Here's my theory on food... It doesn't have to be earthshatteringly amazing to be good. This is a solid place to eat. I had a Reuben and my husband had a wiener schnitzel something on toasted bread. We each had a side salad. Service was prompt and friendly. Atmosphere was decent. Our sandwiches ( I speak for mine). If you love Reubens you know it's all about the ratio and meat to sauce to bread(most sandwiches really). Was it the best tasting I'd ever had? Eh.. (whispers)no. But it was good and not weird with strange mustard or some other addition. It was a good standard Reuben. It WAS hot and the bread was perfectly toasted without being abrasive(you know what I mean?) The real side show stealer was the green side salad. Some places cheap out and all you get is soggy bitter iceberg, anemic veggies and bland dressing. This was the OPPOSITE of that!!! Good fresh greens, minimal veggies(sliced cukes and radish) but well presented and house made lemon dill dressing. It's not fancy. Just good edible food at somewhat decent value with excellent service in the cutest little town I've ever seen in all my 20 years of living in WA State. I would and will eat here again. Next time I will try that beet salad on their menu.
